Jacksonville, Florida based company Speak Records, Inc. is proud to announce the launch of its new record label, SPEAK RECORDS, whose purpose is to help facilitate men and women, called with the gift of music, to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Speak Records is the vision of Thomas and Heather Lester, a couple with over a decade of experience in the music industry and a desire to impact the world for Jesus Christ by promoting solid, ministry-oriented music artists.  Even the name “SPEAK” is a direct reference to Ephesians 5:19 which encourages Christians to “SPEAK to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.”

Speak Records makes its debut with the signing of Colorado-based Christian rock group, Three Cord Wonder (formerly SOK), a group well known in the region for their strong ministry-minded direction, instant connection with young people, spontaneous, fun, and high-energy performances, and, of course, absolutely great music.  

Speak Records is taking Three Cord Wonder into the studio in May 2006 to produce their first national album release due later this summer.  Additionally, Speak Records is putting together a promotional EP and tour in June/July 2006 across the USA to introduce the band to new audiences and reconnect with faithful fans.

Speak Records makes an open invitation to promoters and industry professionals alike to check out Three Cord Wonder and consider them for their summer/fall 2006 events and projects.  “Three Cord Wonder is a special group with a special power in their music, ministry, and message,” according to Heather Lester, Vice President of Speak Records. “Ever since we met them on a personal level in 2002, we knew God had exciting plans for them.  It’s even more exciting that we’ll now be working together on a professional level to see what those plans are.”
